Butterfly Dash & "Bee" Discovery Day 2023
Our Spring Heritage Garden Event is a celebration of native butterflies and bees! FREE & Family-Friendly. Kids need to preregister for the 1k Kids Run Butterfly Dash. There is no need to register for any other activities.

About the event
Our Spring Heritage Garden Event with be a celebration of native bees and butterflies! Hosted by Benton Conservation District this FREE family friendly event will focus on learning about native and low water-use plants and how to support native bees and butterflies in your home gardens. Highlights include Butterfly Dash - Kids 1K Fun Run at 10 am and guest speaker Lisa Robinson of the Washington Native Bee Society will present at 11 am in the West Picnic Shelter. There will be educational exhibits, crafts, garden tours, an event passport and prizes. Kids need to preregister for the 1k Kids Run Butterfly Dash. The dash will start at 10 AM.
From the parking lot walk the paved path to the garden. The event will take place in and around the garden located in the south-west end of the park.
