About the event
Join the Benton County Heritage Garden Program in partnership with the Master Gardeners of Benton & Franklin Counties for an introductory workshop on collecting native seeds in your garden! First we'll learn about ethical seed collection, how and when to collect and maybe even offer some tips and tricks for germination. Then we'll explore the Master Gardener's Heritage Garden, collect seeds and admire the fall blooms happening in the garden. We will be outside for the duration of this event. All are welcome to this free event!
When: Saturday October 11th 11:30 AM-12:30 PM
Where: Waterfall Classroom located in the Master Gardener Demonstration Garden
(1620 S. Union, Kennewick, WA)
What to bring: Writing utensil + paper for note taking if desired.
