Benton County- Intro to Waterwise Gardening with Native Plants

Join the Benton Conservation District Heritage Garden Program to learn about and waterwise landscaping with native plants in our region. Together, we’ll learn about waterwise alternatives to traditional lawn. We’ll cover the basics of what to expect when gardening with native plants including how and where to source native species, best practices and maintenance strategies. Come learn how your yard can shift from one that wastes water to a space that’s waterwise, beautiful and beneficial for our local pollinator friends. All are welcome to this free event!
